Brandan gave a $100-->$28,000 on the Discord...AND IT HIT!
Will a crazy bet hit on the UFC: Blanchfield and Fiorot card?
Weekly Recap
Brandan’s bet hit big
A few weeks ago, Brandan posted a bet ticket that turned $100 into $22,000, but he didn’t post it on the Discord as it was a wild card and he didn’t want to be cavalier with other people’s money. People were mad. Some yelled. Some left the Discord. He wasn’t being sneaky, he just knew it was a wild card and didn’t want others tailing him on such a long shot.
This week (Ribas vs Namajunas) Brandan didn’t make the same mistake, as he posted a +39,000 bet on his “Junkyard Bets” section on the Discord, which is where he posts wild stuff. A lot of members followed his lead and won big—though the bet ended up paying a (roughly) $28,000 in the end as one of the fights ended in a draw, thus changing the overall odds.
Santino and Brandan go 11-2 and lead cappers tracked in the space
In addition to the wildcard bet, Santino and Brandan both picked almost every fight correct on the podcast, which is tracked by @XBLonTwitch (on Twitter), who keeps track of an insane amount of Youtube MMA Cappers.

The Safe Route
One bet Brandan and Santino both agree on is Señor Perfecto, Bill Algeo, who at the time of writing is hovering around a -225 on the betting lines. Bill has great cardio. Moves well. Makes most of the right decisions. Can cage grapple. And has a BJJ Black Belt. He’s going up against Kyle Nelson, who had a great performance in his last outing against Fernando Padilla, where he landed great middle and low kicks and some really good overhands as he stole a decision against the up and coming Padilla.
It’s hard to see a world where Algeo loses this fight, considering it seemed like Kyle was fodder for the up and coming Padilla, who just didn’t do enough for Nelson to get his walking papers.
Santino likes Algeo by decision; Brandan thinks Algeo will get the submission victory.
Barking Dogs
Now listen, it’s not the craziest thing you can do! Throw a small amount on Herbert Burns (+300 Moneyline) for a round one finish. He’s big. Has great bjj, and has submitted a lot of really good guys. Don’t put money down that you can’t afford to lose, but crazier things have happened. If you don’t like that, the main event has Fiorot hovering around +150 to +160, depending on the book. Fiorot has great movement, great cardio, and a really good sense of urgency to stay out of the clinch and away from the grappling battles.
Good Luck to everyone!
